I use to catch them as a kid. Just keep the legs and stir fry them with black bean sauce, ginger, chili, Shaoxing wine. Yummy! BTW, America does have a huge pool of talented people, so I think it is highly unlikely America will become 3rd world (although some parts already are) but you will see a big dip in America's wealth and prestige.
