Three trillion dollars wasted inside Iraq and 5,000 American dead and 100,000 wounded GI; this is hardly calling it success. And this war is still have not won yet! If this is the low level measurement of success, then I very much fear for America as a Nation.

Just why is today scaled down of Iraqis Freedom Fighter attack on these American? Now the Neo-Cons would claim this is because of the Surge and that law and order are being restored.... inside Iraq... etc.

But the truth of the matter is that, the recent scaled down of Iraqis Insurgent attack is because the Shi'te who dominated the country are working to the removal of American soldier from Iraq ... politically. Now that the American have done their dirty work for the Shi'te to removal of Saddam and the Sunni power base; it is time to removal of the American and to fully dominating the entire Iraq for the Shi'te populations.

The recent call of the Iraqis Government for the removal of American troop from Iraq is another tactic working toward this goal; in order to denial the excuse for these American troop to station inside Iraq, you require a relatively peaceful environment so to give an exit excuse for these American...... etc!

This is the very reason why the majority of Shi'te have not turn their guns on these American GI; and allows the Sunni Insurgents who been doing most of the heavily fighting and dying against the American GI.

After 4 years of continue fighting the American, the Sunni Power base and population are almost exhausted; and they require time and space to recover within their ranks. These Persian dominated Shi'te are very crafty bunch, they silently using the American to destroy Sunni Power Base while they sit idle by to preserves their strength.

These naive American are truly modern day Ah-Q with their non-sense.......

In fact, we should not see American soldier returning home to America and exit out of Iraq; instead, we should be glad and encourage these American to stay inside Iraq and continue to be bleeding and dying for oil.

The longer these American stay inside Iraq, the more damage to their economy, to their soldier moral....... and more fvck up they become; let us hopes that USA stuck inside Iraq for 10+ more years.....!

After all, American stayed inside Vietnam War for 10 years; it is only right for these American to stay inside Iraq for 10+ years. So, carry on, America, carry on to stay inside Iraq!

In fact, America should open up the third front, and directly attacking Iran! You can do it America, you are the God chosen nation for the Jews; so, goes and attacking Afghan, Iraq, and Iran!

Do Syria while you at it, we would like to see you American to have perpetual wars in all front! Haaa! Haaa!

Success in Iraq

The war continues to abate in Iraq. Violence is still present, but, of course, Iraq was a relatively violent place long before Coalition forces moved in. I would go so far as to say that barring any major and unexpected developments (like an Israeli air strike on Iran and the retaliations that would follow), a fair-minded person could say with reasonable certainty that the war has ended. A new and better nation is growing legs. What's left is messy politics that likely will be punctuated by low-level violence and the occasional spectacular attack. Yet, the will of the Iraqi people has changed, and the Iraqi military has dramatically improved, so those spectacular attacks are diminishing along with the regular violence. Now it's time to rebuild the country, and create a pluralistic, stable and peaceful Iraq. That will be long, hard work. But by my estimation, the Iraq War is over. We won. Which means the Iraqi people won.

I wish I could say the same for Afghanistan. But that war we clearly are losing: I am preparing to go there and see the situation for myself. My friends and contacts who have a good understanding of Afghanistan are, to a man, pessimistic about the current situation. Interestingly, however, every one of them believes that Afghanistan can be turned into a success. They all say we need to change our approach, but in the long-term Afghanistan can stand on its own. The sources range from four-stars to civilians from the United States, Great Britain and other places. A couple years ago, some of these sources believed that defeat was imminent in Iraq. They were nearly right about Iraq, although some of them knew far less about Iraq than they do about Afghanistan. But it's clear that hard days are ahead in Afghanistan. We just lost nine of our soldiers in a single firefight, where the enemy entered a base and nearly overran it.

The news from Afghanistan is reason for pessimism. For some more optimistic news, please look at these statistics from Iraq, and remember that if we could turn things around in that country, we might be able to do the same in Afghanistan.
